With the new version, it was particularly important to us that editors can do their work in imperia even more efficiently. We have therefore adapted the design so that an improved user experience is possible.

The new imperia update went live today. The focus of this release is usability in all its forms.

Since the release of imperia 11 in July, we’ve incorporated initial feedback into the new release and rounded off the version in terms of content. This version also includes the winning feature from the vote at Customer Days 2019, usability improvements and the introduction of accessibility for the disabled.

The new release now supports PostgreSQL in addition to Oracle. This makes pirobase PIM attractive for companies with small or low data volumes. Another advantage is that PostgreSQL is an open source database, which significantly reduces licensing costs.

The user experience in the workflow has been fundamentally revised in the new release. The individual steps now interlink more effectively and make the process easy for everyone to understand.

The new online presence of the Brothers Grimm city of Hanau at hanau.de features a whole range of improvements – including a responsive design, more targeted search options and a clearer user interface. These developments are based on version 10.5 of the imperia content management system, which matches the current state of web technology, with HTML 5 and CSS 3. As part of the relaunch, the city of Hanau also commissioned pirobase imperia to host its website. The city has been a pirobase imperia customer since 2003.

At this year’s DMEXCO, we’ll be showing how companies can optimise the customer experience with emotive product experiences. Product experience management (PXM) gives companies control over their customer experiences and all product data.

We’ll be presenting version 11 of imperia at the Kommunale trade fair.

The conclusions to be drawn from this year’s Customer Days are positive. Almost 100 customers, stakeholders and partners accepted our invitation to Phantasialand in Brühl. In particular, they benefited from a varied agenda with panel discussions, user lectures, product presentations and workshops.
